Dutch Super Car in 2012

Back on track at the August Euro Saloons meeting at Rockingham we took a 2nd and 3rd despite lack of mechanical grip at the rear which will be tested at the next WRDA meeting at Pembrey in September.

In the Pembrey Euro Saloons meeting in July the Ginetta G50 took second with the fastest lap in first race and then whilst leading the second race was forced off the road by a back marker braking in front on the exit of a bend and the second placed touring car and I hit the wall.

In the first 3 WRDA meetings the Ginetta took 6 second places.

4th place in the first OSS race for David Krayem in his Jade Chrysler at Brands Hatch indy circuit only 0.8 seconds off the pace of the Works Jade with 70 bhp more and driven by Tony Sinclair.  The second race on Sunday 5 laps from the end when in 3rd position by a fair margin The throttle decided to stick wide open at 120mph whilst trying to brake and turn left for the left handed Surtees corner!! This was caused by a sticking throttle body (later found to be due to expansion of the throttle body butterfly). Quick thinking and extra fast reactions from David enabled him to turn the master switch of before certain disaster!. luckily the car came to a safe holt on the infield where there is a large run of area.

The KRAYEM RACING STEALTH B6  driven by team owner DAVID KRAYEM completed a series of tests after a full winter rebuild by in house Chief Engineer Ben Scrivens. The car is quicker than the last 2 years when it dominated the FIA GT 90 REVIVAL SERIES. This extra pace has been achieved by improving aerodynamics in all areas of the car resulting in more downforce and less drag.

Win and Second for Krayem’s Stealth B6 GT1

Race 1

The Krayem Racing Stealth started from the front of the grid and Krayem went onto set the fastest lap by over 1 second and won the 45 minute race by 30 seconds.

Race 2

Krayem’s Stealth led by 400 metres at the FIRST corner after the rolling start and by some 20 seconds at the end of the first lap. The front left tyre then began to lose pressure and even with reduced speed the lead was steadily extended until the tyre failed just past the pits one lap before the pit stop window time commenced.

4 minutes was lost in limping around the 3.5 mile circuit to change the wheel and tyre and even gaining 7 seconds per lap the Stealth could not catch the leader and finished in second place.

The top speed of Krayem's Stealth at the end of the main straight was over 180 mph.

French GT Race Meeting   Magny Cours 13 & 14 October 2007

Krayem's Stealth Defeats Le Mans McLaren

The entries in the European FIA GT90's at the French GT meeting at Magny Cours last weekend included the McLaren F1 GTR which was 4th overall at the 1998 LeMans 24 hours and the Oreca Works Viper which was 2nd in its class at LeMans in 1999.

During the 3 days of practice and qualification David Krayem's Stealth B6 GT1 and Paul Knapfield's McLaren F1 GTR were neck and neck and swapping fastest lap times with the McLaren on the final pole by only 0.015 seconds.

In the 1st 45 minute race on Saturday evening the McLaren pulled out a 5 second lead but then the Stealth started to push and took the lead at the halfway point and stayed ahead to take the win by 5 seconds, both cars having lapped the remainder of the field.

The Stealth and McLaren were circulating within 4 seconds of current FIA GT1 cars who were running in the feature races at the same event.

The McLaren did not participate in Sunday morning's race and the Stealth completed the double winning comfortably by 40 seconds.
